1984 Peterson Spindrift

Nuevo Nayarit, Mexico

$60,000

Drastically reduced for quick sale due to health reasons!

Sold as "Hillier Peterson 46" in Australia, and as a "Spindrift 46" in the USA, The 1984 Peterson Cutter is a proven offshore passage maker, a very famous design with many sea kindly characteristics. She was built to very high standards in Taiwan under the close supervision of Ron Hillier.

She is a stable and safe center cockpit performance cruiser, cutter rigged and easy to handle, considered among the best of blue water cruisers. The Lauren Marie has been a live aboard family Yacht for many years. There are some issues that will be addressed. The owner has removed outdated instruments in preparation for selection of newer equipment with current technologies and more convenient usage. However lightning strikes in Mexico threaten all instrumentation and they have delayed the purchase temporarily.  all work has been professionally done by reputable yards in the Bay Area, Berkeley Marine Center and Svensons’ Boatyard in Alameda. Two tasks are scheduled for professional woodworking attention in October.  And a professional rigger will do the mast wiring work in November.  The complete list of issues will be addressed at the beginning of the season in late 2023. An older 2013 survey is available upon request.
